Sliips is the crowdsourced answer to one of life’s most common questions: ‘Am I being paid fairly?’ By crowdsourcing payslips, we are able to build the most accurate picture of pay, that users can trust to make career decisions.
Problem: Poor Quality Salary Information.
The way people make career decisions relies on a combination of advice from friends and family, speaking to colleagues and looking at salary information sites; but always taking them with more than a pinch of salt. These sites are unreliable because:
1. Salary information and users are not verified
2. Salary information relates only to job title, and is therefore vague
3. Salary information is poorly presented with minimum analytics capability
Solution: Accuracy, Anonymity & Analytics.
Sliips is accurate. Crowdsourcing payslips means we verify the user’s employer and salary, a unique advantage in the current market
Sliips is anonymous. We have built in functionality for users to remove identifying information from their payslip. We never ask for a users’ name so they can feel safe sharing their information with us.
Sliips is an analytics platform. We take a range of biographical and job-related information from users and give them a tool to build graphs of their choosing, for the answers they need.
Sliips is useful for employers too. A large accurate data set on compensation and a tool to explore equality will help employers attract the right talent at the right price.
